Sacramento, California
Project Narrative:
- Located in the new growth area of North Natomas.
- Layout of the parcel was originally designated as part of North Natomas Community Plan and incorporates multiple land uses. What's the size of the total site?
- The land was developed by Alleghany Properties, Inc. and the residential portions were sold off to Ryland Homes, Beck Homes, and other developers. How many different subdivisions?
- Alleghany negotiated with the developers as to who would do inclusionary units or was the assumption that the bulk of them would be on the multi-family sites?
- The number of units proposed for the site would have resulted in 174 affordable units. However, due to the funding sources used, the project ended up with a total of 224 affordable units.
- Inclusionary plan adopted March 2002 and inclusionary agreement recorded in December 2002. Construction started in May 2003.
